Our EMT Blended Fast Track program is a 6-week blended learning course. This robust course gives students the unique opportunity of completing the didactic portion of the course online through the use of interactive powerpoints, video checkpoints, exams, and even NREMT exam test prep. Students come to campus one day per week to master their practical skills with our experienced Instructors. There they will learn the tricks of the trade such as back-boarding, patient assessment, and CPR.
The EMT Blended Fast Track Program will prepare students to provide emergency medical care to victims of accidents and sudden illness. You will develop skills in symptom recognition, emergency care procedures, and techniques considered to be within the responsibilities of an EMT. Emergency Medical Technicians provide routine and emergency medical care with an ambulance service, as well as in hospitals and clinics. Becoming an EMT is the first step towards becoming a paramedic.
The smaller class size allows you maximum practice time with our experienced instructors. Our program allows students the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational opportunities. This program exceeds the US DOT/DPH/OEMS guidelines. The instructional staff consists of experienced EMTs with years of experience as EMS educators.
Springfield EMT Blended Fast Track:
Class meets in person on Saturdays from 9 am-5 pm for hands-on practical training. The didactic portion of the course will be completed online through our Learning Management System. All students must be in attendance on the Monday night of the first week of class to continue with this program. CPR training will be taught that evening.

Course Materials: Textbook- Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured by Pollack 12TH Edition. (Recommended but not required). The uniform is NOT included in the course fee. To purchase a uniform visit the “student uniform” tab on the right. Student Polo, EMT pants, & the student tools kit are required for the course.
