National EMS Institute’s Worcester Blended Fast Track program is a 6 week blended learning course. This robust course gives students the unique opportunity of completing the didactic portion of the course online. With this program, students are able to use interactive powerpoints, video check points, exams, and even NREMT exam test prep to help them do a deep dive into the EMS education curriculum. Students then train two nights per week to master their practical skills with our dedicated Instructors. During the in class sessions, students learn the tricks of the trade such as back-boarding, patient assessment, and CPR.
Our Worcester Blended Fast Track Program will prepare students to provide emergency medical care to victims of accidents and sudden illness. As a student, you will develop skills in symptom recognition, emergency care procedures and techniques considered to be within the responsibilities of an EMT. Emergency Medical Technicians provide routine and emergency medical care with an ambulance service or in hospitals settings. Becoming an EMT is the first step towards becoming an Advanced EMT, Paramedic or even a Physician’s Assistant. There are many paths that require an EMT certification.
The smaller class size allows you maximum practice time with our experienced instructors. Our program allows students the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational opportunities. This program exceeds the US DOT/DPH/OEMS guidelines. The instructional staff consists of experienced EMT’s with years of experience as providers and EMS educators.

Class meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm – 10pm for hands on practical training. The didactic portion of this course is served online through the Learning Management System. All students must be in attendance on the first night of class to continue on with this program.

Textbook- Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured by Pollack 12th Edition (Recommended but not required). The uniform is NOT included in the course fee. To purchase a uniform visit the “student uniform” tab on the right. Student Polo, EMT pants, & the student tools kit are required for the course.
