Our Carver Blended Fast Track program is a 6 week blended learning course. This robust course gives students the unique opportunity of completing the didactic portion of the course online. This can be accomplished through the use of interactive powerpoints, video checkpoints, exams, and even NREMT exam test prep. Students will then come to our campus on Saturdays to master their practical skills with our experienced Instructors. There they will learn the tricks of the trade such as back-boarding, patient assessment, and CPR.
This course will prepare students to provide emergency medical care to victims of accidents and sudden illnesses. Students will develop skills in symptom recognition, emergency care procedures, and techniques considered to be within the responsibilities of an EMT. Emergency Medical Technicians provide routine and emergency medical care with an ambulance service, as well as in hospitals and clinics. Becoming an EMT is the first step towards becoming a Paramedic.
The smaller class size allows you maximum practice time with our experienced instructors. Our program allows students the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational opportunities. This program exceeds the US DOT/DPH/OEMS guidelines. The instructional staff consists of experienced EMTs with years of experience as EMS educators.

EMT Blended Fast Track :
Class meets Saturdays from 9 am-5 pm for hands for practical training. The didactic portion of this course will be served online through our Learning Management System. This is completed every week. Students are required to come to orientation night on the first Monday of the program. The class will run that night only from 5:15-10 pm. All students must be in attendance on the first night of class to continue with this program.

Course Materials: Textbook- Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured by Pollack. ISBN: 978-1284080179 (Recommended but not required). Students will receive access to the electronic textbook through the online system. The uniform is not included in the course fee. To purchase a uniform visit the “student uniform” tab on the right. Student Polo, EMT pants, & the student tools kit are required for the course.
